It was a pretty interesting episode of Kourtney and Kim take New York this week, especially with Scott Disick’s declaration that he is a fashion icon! Disick has claimed he is a fashion icon for men and has plenty of advice which he’s willing to give out to men, including fashion tips on how to wear hats!
Of course Kim has a big laugh at him over that.
Scott manages to use his fashion skills to purchase a pretty ugly walking stick for $3500. Kourtney hates the walking stick of course, so there is a whole drama around that! Scott on the other hand manages to find a lot of common sense uses for it, like marshaling traffic around New York.
On the show they also have footage of Kim recording her debut song, with Ciara and “The Dream” in the studio. It shows a super nervous Kim trying to get the courage to sing on the track which she eventually does. At one stage she left the studio in a huff! Was the song lucky to be finished?
Kim Kardashian has blogged about her debut music video! Kim posted a number of pictures on her blog from behind the scenes of the music video. In the pics Kim is wearing various sexy outfits and wearing blood red lipstick.
Hype Williams directed the “Turn it Up” video clip and Kim is even featured in the video with braids in her hair, Bo Derek style. Kim explained how she decided on the look: “Hype Williams came up with this Bo Derek braids look for the music video and I loved it! It took about four hours to do, and believe it or not I fell asleep! I wish I could have worn it longer.”
The single was previewed on the Ryan Seacrest radio show yesterday, checkout the video below to see that. The official music video should be released shortly. Kim says she is nervous about venturing into music: “I’m excited (and a little nervous) for you all to hear the song and watch the video. I really hope you all like it!”
The proceeds from the song go to cancer, so it’s all for a good cause and most likely not a permanent career change for Kim!

Kim Kardashian is a jack of all trades that’s for sure – model, actress, actor, product promoter and no, singer. According to the Kim the song is: “like a pop dance song,”, and released “in about three weeks.” Kim describes her voice as “cute”!
At this stage we don’t know if this is a long term career move or just some fun.

Kim Kardashian is intending on having a big 2011 starting with the release of her first single, produced by Kanye West. Keen to get her music out there, Kardashian showed off the song at a New Years Eve party at the Tao nightclub in Las Vegas.
Kim introduced the song, then even sang along to it in the club. It actually sounds surprisingly good, despite having autotune all through it.
One of the attendees at the event said: “Fans screamed and snapped photos of Kim as she partied to her new song,” In the video below you can hear tat Kim got a pretty good reception to the song.
They also filmed the nightclub for use in her upcoming music video to be released shortly. The video will feature Kanye West apparently.
