Kim Kardashian announces wedding date
Kim Kardashian has been ramping up her wedding preparations for the last couple of months, leading to a lot of speculation of a quick wedding. Well the rumors have been revealed to be trued with an August 20 wedding date announced.
It’s been a bit of whirlwind affair between Kardashian and professional basketballer Kris Humphries, with the pair only dating for a couple of months before announcing their engagement. Now the wedding is on it’s way and fast!
It almost looks like a shotgun wedding, but we haven’t seen Kim Kardashian sporting a baby bump yet.
Kardashian has her bachelorette party also planned with a huge night being organised in Las Vegas in late July. The event apparently going to be held in nightclubs Tao and Lavo.
Kris Jenner is apparently the woman in charge of the wedding and reception and she has jumped into the massive party planning with two feet. Khloe says Kris Jenner is doing a great job: “I have no idea what’s going on. But I’ve seen how much my mom has been doing, and I don’t know how my mom does it! Kim should be kissing the ground that she walks on. It’s amazing.”
However Khloe Kardashian claims that Kris Humphries still hasn’t spent much time with the Kardashian family – he might not be a good fit!
Kris Jenner definitely has her hands full with a guest list of 1000 people, a fleet of luxury cars and at this time, still no venue found for the event.

Khloe Kardashian has decided to share some pics from the engagement party celebration for her sisters Kim Kardashian and professional basketball player Kris Humphries!
In the pics Kim Kardashian shows off her massive engagement ring and smiles happily, comfortable in Kris’ arms.
Khloe described the photos on her blog: “Kim walked in late (OF COURSE) and nonchalantly flashed that rock of hers and we all started screaming! Well… It took us a few minutes to notice, but once we did, everyone started freaking out LOL.”
Kris Jenner organised the party for her daughter, and Kim thanked her mother. The only one who thinks the whirlwind engagement may not be a good idea – Rob Kardashian, who has been quoted as saying the relationship is going to fast. He may be right as the couple only started dating 5 months ago, are now suddenly engaged and there is talk of a quick wedding!

Kim Kardashian sure knows how to celebrate her birthday, with numerous parties this week and a possible new boyfriend in the form of John Mayer on the horizon. In the most recent Kim Kardashian birthday news, it has been revealed that a jeweler is working with a restaurant owner to create the ultimate girls birthday cake – covered in 1 million dollars worth of diamonds!
Kim Kardashian is set to receive the cake on October the 21st according to the nightclub promoter involved.
In other Kim Kardashian news, she has revealed some new makeup tips and says that she hates when women use the wrong foundation for their skin tone. Kardashian told a newspaper:I hate when women wear the wrong foundation colour. It might be the worst thing on the planet when they wear their make-up too light.” Kim also mentioned that her favourite cosmetic item is blot paper or powder. Kim also says she will continue to update her twitter feed with cosmetic tips for the ladies, saying “I do it for fun and put up fun beauty tips and fashion, so it’s really amazing that people read it and follow it.”
